Horizontal Video to Vertical

Introduction

This free tool can help you convert horizontal video to vertical video and portrait video to landscape video by resizing, cropping or rotating the video file. The tool supports various video files, such as MP4, AVI, M4V, MKV, MOV, WMV and more. With the three "Resize" options, you can adjust the aspect ratio of video to 9:16 and choose a color, image or blur the video as the video background, in addition, with the "Enlarge" option, you can adjust the resized result and make it larger. With the "Crop" option, the video will be cropped from the center with an aspect ratio of 9:16. With the two "Rotate" options, you can rotate the video to the right or left, which will also turn the horizontal video into a vertical one. The output format is MP4 video.

How To Use

Select a "Video" file (such as *.mp4, *.3gp, *.asf, *.avi, *.divx, *.m2ts, *.m4v, *.mkv, *.mov, *.mpeg, *.mts, *.rm, *.rmvb, *.vob, *.webm, *.wmv and more).
Select a value in the "Options".
Click the "Convert" button to start uploading your files.
Once the upload is complete, the converter will redirect a web page to display the conversion results.

Main Options

Resize 9:16 Color Background, resize the video in 9:16 aspect ratio and select a solid color as the video background.
Resize 9:16 Image Background, resize the video in 9:16 aspect ratio, adjust and crop the added image, and then set it as the video background.
Resize 9:16 Blurred Background, resize the video in 9:16 aspect ratio and create a blurred video from the original video and use it as the background.
Crop 9:16, crop the video in 9:16 aspect ratio.
Rotate Right 90 °, rotate 90 degrees clockwise to the right.
Rotate Left 90 °, rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise to the left.

Color Options

The "Color" options include "Default", "Azure", "Black", "Blue", "Brown", "Cyan", "Fuchsia", "Gold", "Gray", "Green", "Maroon", "Navy", "Olive", "Orange", "Pink", "Purple", "Red", "Silver", "Skyblue", "White", "Yellow". If you select the "Default" value, the tool will try to use the default background color of the source video.

Enlarge Options

Default, no change in size.
1.2x/1.5x/1.8x/2x, enlarge the original video by 1.2/1.5/1.8/2 times, the video will appear larger and may be cropped to a suitable size.

Blur Level Options

The "Blur Level" options include "Default", "Strong" and "Strongest". With this option, you can control the level of the blurring effect.

The maximum upload file size is 200 MB.
