Change Video Thumbnail

Introduction

This free tool can help you change the thumbnail or cover in your video metadata, replacing it with a selected video frame or custom image. The tool supports various video files, such as MP4, AVI, M4V, MKV, MOV, WMV and more. You can change only the default embedded thumbnail or both the thumbnail and the first frame of the video. Most operating systems can support embedding thumbnails in video metadata or use a video frame as the video cover, such as Windows, Mac iOS, Android, etc. Some software supports embedding thumbnails in the metadata, but others may ignore the metadata and use the first frame, in which case you will need change the first frame as well. With the "Image" option, you can specify a time to capture a frame image, or select an external image as the new thumbnail. The output format is MP4 video.

How To Use

1. Select a "Video" file (such as *.mp4, *.3gp, *.asf, *.avi, *.divx, *.m2ts, *.m4v, *.mkv, *.mov, *.mpeg, *.mts, *.rm, *.rmvb, *.vob, *.webm, *.wmv and more).
2. Enter a time for the video frame, or select an image file (such as *.jpg, *.bmp, *.gif, *.png, *.arw, *.cr2, *.cr3, *.crw, *.dcr, *.dng, *.heic, *.jpeg, *.mrw, *.nef, *.nrw, *.orf, *.pcx, *.pef, *.psd, *.raf, *.raw, *.rw2, *.sr2, *.srf, *.srw, *.tif, *.tiff, *.webp, *.wmf, *.x3f and more).
3. Click the "Convert" button to start uploading your files.
4. Once the upload is complete, the converter will redirect a web page to display the conversion results.

Main Options

• Change Thumbnail, change only the thumbnail or cover in the video metadata.
• Change Thumbnail&First Frame, change the thumbnail and the first frame of video at the same time.

Image Options

• Time, time to capture video frame (minutes:seconds).
• File, the width and height of the added image should not exceed the width and height of the original video, otherwise it will be resized.

Remarks

• The maximum upload file size is 200 MB.
